Performance Standards
Choir is a performance class. The ensemble’s
success relies on each member’s full contribution.
As such, the following applies:
1. Attendance at all performances is mandatory. A detailed concert schedule is distributed separately.
Look ahead and work out all conflicts early.
2. Be punctual and properly dressed
3. Reminder: All students are to be present for the entire concert.
4. Excused Absences include personal illness or family emergency only. Please send a note or contact
me before the concert if possible. Though it is impossible to actually make up a missed concert,
project options are available to recover lost points.
5. Unexcused concert absences cannot be made up.
(these include babysitting, transportation issues, homework, youth group, sports, etc.)
Please work out all conflicts well in advance.
Unavoidable schedule conflicts with other school activities (e.g. sports) must be discussed ahead of time
so that we can work out a possible compromise.
6. Points are deducted from your Performance score if you are: late, out of dress code, or improperly
care for your robe.
